Today is a day you’ll remember for the rest of your lives. Today is the day you’re welcoming into the world a dark haired, brown eyed bundle of joy sent from God. As the two of you sit there, starring into the eyes of what your world now revolves around, you imagine what this little girls’ bright future will look like. It’s an exciting thought, but also a terrifying one as well. The world we live in is ever changing, always giving us a roller coaster of events to squander through. These high and lows bring about some of the happiest and saddest events in our life. There’s many obstacles that your daughter will eventually be facing in today’s society, but the one that you need to place a heavy emphasis on is the fight for gender equality.
